Instead, I have switched to using the TubeBuddy Videolytics tool https://www.tubebuddy.com/TheFinanceStoryteller to compare search rankings of my videos to competitors and optimize my keywords. TubeBuddy is a free Google Chrome / Firefox add-in. How to check YouTube video statistics for a video on someone else's channel? As a YouTuber, it is interesting to see what your competition is doing, although "co-runner" is a more suitable term than competitor in the YouTube environment. This video shows you how to view the statistics on most YouTube videos [UNTIL THE FUNCTIONALITY WAS DISCONTINUED BY YOUTUBE IN NOVEMBER 2018], without having to purchase software, and without installing plug-ins in your browser. The method does not work for all videos, only for videos where the maker of the video allows statistics to be displayed. |
